Glorious Day (Living He Loved Me) - Casting Crowns

Spring is for cleaning and for enjoying the little things in life.

Well today I would like to post one of my poems I collected, it talks about things we have that we take for granted. Our feet, eyes, ears to hear and how blessed we are to have these. I keep telling myself to be grateful when you get out of bed cause some people cannot get out of bed. Be grateful for friends, family, God's forgiveness and the beauty all around us to see and enjoy. To hear children laugh or sing is wonderful, to sing and to share a song with others is great. Just make a joyfull noise unto the Lord and He will take it from there. OK here is the poem:

                                      The World is Mine

Today upon a bus,

   I saw a lovely maid with golden hair;

   I envied her she seemed so happy

   and I wished I were as fair.

   When suddenly she rose to leave,

   I saw her hobble down the aisle'

  She had one foot and wore a crutch,
  But as she passed, a smile;

  Oh, God forgive me when I whine;

  I have two feet the world is mine.

   And then I stopped to buy some sweets

   I talked with him he said to me:

   "It's nice to talk with folks like you."

  "You see," he said, "I'm blind."

   Oh, God forgive me when I whine;

   I have two eyes the world is mine.

   Then walking down the street,

   I saw a child with eyes of blue

   He stood and watched the others play;

   it seemed he knew not what to do.

   I stopped for a moment, then I said;

   "Why don't you join the others dear?"

   He looked ahead without a word,

   and then I knew he could not hear.

   Oh, God forgive me when I whine;

   I have two ears the world is mine.

   With feet to take me where I'd go,

   With eyes to see the sunset's glow,

   With ears to hear what I would know,

   Oh, God, forgive me when I wine,

   I'm blessed indeed the world is mine.

We really are blessed so next time you think you have nothing, look around see the beauty everywhere and thank God for His blessing. Thank God for your health, family, friends, your job and yes there is much more. Just think about all you have compared to others as the season of Spring comes in the next weeks.

Your life compared to the Superbowl

Yes sometimes our lives are like the Superbowl, we have to choose to follow Christ or not have our sins forgiven.
To ask Christ into your life would be the best thing you can do, the Bible says "no one can come to the father except thru me". The steps are like A B C:
A- Accept Christ into your heart
B- Believe he is God's son and he died for you
C- Confess your sins to him and he will wash your sins as far as the east is from the west and he will remember them no more.
Being a christian does not mean you can't have fun in your life, it just means you are a new creation and have Christ living in your heart.  Don't let people tell you there is to much sin in my life to be forgiven the bible says "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God". Notice it says ALL no one is exempt but then we have Christ who died for all of us. Yes even before we were born he died for us, he bleed, died and rose again. God never fails or leaves us, he is always there to talk to and wants us to talk to him. Tell him your needs and wait for his answer.
Someone once told me if you want to hear God laugh tell him your plans. Yes he has a plan for all of us and sometimes we wonder what it is, to find out think about what you are passionate about or what makes you so sad you want to cry when you think about it. That is your passion, mine is to help abused children, men and women.
Now if you chose to not accept Christ, that is up to you no one can do that for you. Don't wait till it is to late be on the winning side of the Superbowl and live for Christ. Stand up for what you believe is right, stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. Love one another as Christ as loved you, forgive one another,
reach out your hand to others.  Let Christ light shine thru you, don't live in darkness. This year as the Superbowl is played remember to use the ABC of accepting Christ.

My life will be your Christ to do as you want. I love you Lord and help me to help others and to keep living for you. I may make mistakes because I am human but I can do ALL things thru Christ who strenghtens me.

Beautiful on the inside

Let's talk about beauty, the world has their view and God has His. The world looks at the outside and says she is beautiful or what is wrong with her. God says "we were created in His image", so we should remember God don't make junk. We should all be lifting each other up and finding good things about one another.  Don't let those young girls think they have to get surgery, tucks, nips or even change the way they were created.

Some men put their loved ones down with words (like are you gonna wear that it makes you look bad, or why can't you be like other women) and this is worse than if they would beat them. Words do not leave marks, whereas beating leaves marks, words do leave marks on the heart and makes them feel worthless. You can tell people you were beaten down with words but most of the time they will not believe you. Keep the faith and God is always there for you, reach out to Him.
Remember the tongue is sharper than any two edged sword, and words spoken can not be taken back.
In Genesis it says God created man in his own image, and then created woman so be proud of who you are.
